Is Climate Change Making us Sick? [En Ligne, Anglais]

En Ligne, Strasbourg
Entrée libre
Organisé par MeetEU

When it comes to climate change, most people think of rising sea levels, but few consider its impact on their health. The European Environment Agency (EEA) has investigated the health risks associated with a warming atmosphere. Some are obvious, such as more frequent and severe floods, heatwaves, and forest fires, but they also include rising infections and significant mental health issues.

Hans-Martin Fuessel, climate change risks and adaptation expert at the EEA explains the future challenges we must prepare for and actions we can take to safeguard our well-being. Don't forget to bring your questions and ideas and join this digital event with europeans from all over the continent.

LET'S MAKE EUROPE A
BETTER PLACE

United in diversity – that’s the motto we share at MeetEU! Since April 2020, we have been organizing weekly events with Members of the European Parliament, European Commission representatives, EU activists and scientists. At our events, participants can discuss their ideas directly with decision-makers and experts.

Our mission is to bring EU citizens closer to EU politics. Our event participants join from all over Europe. We all come from different backgrounds. But once a week, we come together with one goal: to share perspectives and make Europe a better place.

MeetEU is a project run by volunteers and based in the beautiful city of Strasbourg
